SURROGACY

WHAT IS SURROGACY?

Surrogacy, a source of hope for many parents who dream of conceiving, was first implemented in the United States in 1986 and was successful. This method is when couples who want to have children but  cannot get pregnant due to health problems  give birth to a baby carrying their own genes through another mother.

As the name suggests, the person who gives birth to the child in surrogacy only acts as a surrogate. The baby genetically belongs to the couple who wants to have a baby, and the duty of the carrier is  to provide the appropriate conditions for the attachment, growth and development of the embryo  and to fulfill the birth act at the end of the process.

The surrogate mother delivers the baby to its genetic parents after birth, and her role in the process ends legally forever.
