Egg Donation
Egg donation (egg transplant) is a highly successful treatment for expectant mothers who have no chance of becoming pregnant with their own eggs. In the method of egg donation, eggs collected from donors with healthy and rich ovarian reserves are fertilized with sperm from the father or sperm donor to become embryos. These developed embryos are placed in the womb of the expectant mother through IVF methods and conceive the expectant mother.

How to Do Egg Donation
Donation treatment has the same procedures as IVF treatment. The couple are asked for general health screening tests before starting the programme. Tests and examinations may be required to detect their condition, especially from a hormonal point of view. In addition, the father-to-be is asked for a sperm test (spermiogram) and the mother-to-be for a womb film. With these assessments, the mother and father are made eligible for treatment. With the cyclone (menstrual cycle) of the expectant mother, the donor's menstrual cycle is synchronized using various drugs. So the two menstruate during the same period. The egg donor's eggs are grown, while the expectant mother's oestrogen level is treated at a certain level. On the day the eggs are collected from the donor, the mother-to-be's wife gives a sperm sample and the collected eggs are fertilized with this sperm, enabling them to become embryos.
The development of embryos is followed and transferred to the womb of the expectant mother on the day deemed appropriate. The result of the procedure is learned with a pregnancy test (beta HCG) to be looked at from the blood 12 days after the transfer process.
